It was probably 4 years before we saw the first Monarch.  Today we were on a walk and saw these caterpillars.  Once we started looking we saw over 10 more.  These are probably the 2nd or 3rd generation of the summer.  The 4th generation is the one that returns to Mexico.  This is the first time we have seen caterpillars.
